My wife loves to paint. We decided to make a web page about her art work. On this page you will find a painting of one of our beautiful granddaughters. We have four lovely granddaughters. We enjoy working in the church. Every year we have an event called Heavenly Houses. In 2008, The Church of Christ at Jackson Street had a play about the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. JESUS ON THE CROSS was painted for this event. I knew that Christ suffered and died on the Cross for everyone so we could live. So, I decided to mix different paint colors together to represent all of the wonderful people all over the world.The color came out to be a dark gray color. I painted Christ this color because He loves everybody. He came to save the world, not to condemn it. The image of Christ glows in the dark.
My son wanted a painting of a Ninja Warrior on his wall. He picked out a picture from one of his video games. I painted this picture for him. Since my painting came from his video game, I know that I do not have distributing or selling rights. This painting was created for his room only. ALL RIGHTS BELONGS TO THE ORIGINAL ARTIST.
In 2003, I was asked to paint a picture about breast cancer awareness. The painting that I presented is called, "TELL SOMEONE." The Sister Network Organization is a company that lets men and women know about the importance of having breast exams. The more you know can help save your life and you will be also able to help inform others.
At church we had a program where the teachers taught about different women in the Bible. One of the teachers told the story of Queen Esther. In the Bible they described her as a beautiful woman. I was asked to paint Queen Esther. I tried to imagine what she may have looked during that time.
